On the 27th January I got the opportunity to shoot with Iceni again, it has been several years since we last shot together and I just love the creativity (and talent) that Martin brings to each shoot! It was well worth waiting for! Sometimes it can be a litte tricky to figure out exactly what Martin is planning as he is a complete photoshop wizard and last time we shot together he even managed to fit a spaceship in the shot, so you really never do know what exactly you are in for! He did communicate very well though and after a few emails I think I got on the right track. He had several concepts, each which took a lot of careful planning and consideration but I was blown away by the creativity of every idea he came up with!
One of the things I love about shooting with Martin is that he throws all these ideas out there but is happy for me to input too, it becomes almost a creative collaboration throwing ideas around and creating stories for each scene! I find being in front of Martin's camera is often less like modelling and more like acting! I love getting into all these weird and wonderful head spaces trying to create that perfect mood and emotion for each and every shot! Working with Martin certainly doesn't feel like work at all, but more like being a kid in a sweet shop (if there are such things as sweet shops full of dramatic emotion and props!)
He certainly puts a lot of thought into his work and it really is fantastic to be a part of it! I think my favourite part of the day was definitely getting dressed up as a deer and acting out the most bizarre, weird (and rather messed up) concepts we had for the outfit I had made!
I can't wait to see the rest of the images! (they will be added as and when I see them!) Image above shot a few years ago, all images below taken in January 2016:

Martin was also kind enough to leave me this lovely reference on Purpleport:
My second shoot with Miss Rose and what a fantastic shoot it was! She quickly understands and engages with the photographer's concepts and has enormous energy and dedication, combining a great sense of drama (and fun) with being extremely organised and professional. First class communications throughout.
I really feel that I have worked with a creative partner - someone who always adds that extra spark to the finished image. I couldn't ask for more.
And of course, I cant forget the behind the scenes shots!
Enjoy,
