I've worked with Diane a few times in the past and each time she contacts me it seems to get more and more interesting! This time it was a little more crazy (and messy) than anything we have shot before so, naturally, I was super excited and loved the fact she was keen on getting me involved in the planning stage. Di also introduced me to Steve who would be shooting along side her (and was equally as keen to get the shoot underway). I put together a mood-board and we started a group chat on Facebook to gather inspiration and ideas. Diane and Steve thankfully put a lot of research and testing in before the shoot came around to ensure we had everything ready and prepared! (Thanks to Diane's "Test model" haha).
On the day of the shoot I brought along my chaperone as discussed (read: flour-thrower and all round behind the scenes helper) and we all took a drive out to Diane's super top secret shooting location. I couldn't quite believe the amount of flour and equipment they brought along, I am usually the one with suitcases and multiple bags but all I needed for this was one bag which was absolutely nothing compared to Di & Steve's trolly load of equipment!
A bit of setting up and a few test shots and we were all good to go! Both Diane & Steve were brilliant at communicating their ideas and giving direction throughout (which didn't only involve directing me but also Adam & George - who were both fantastic help behind the scenes!)
The day just flew by (quite literally as I spent most of it leaping in the air!) and I don't think I've ever laughed quite so much (mainly at myself). I've already started to see some of the results and I think we got some absolutely stunning shots (even if I do say so myself). Although it was a very intensive day of constant jumping, leaping and throwing myself around, there was still a very laid back and fun atmosphere amongst everyone and it really was a very fun day that I'm so pleased I got to be a part of!
Some of Diane's photos from the day can be seen on her website: DSeddonPhoto.co.uk and a few of my favourites below:
She was also kind enough to leave me a reference on Purpleport:
"I have shot with Miss Rose before, but it was a long time ago - all I can say is that she has matured and developed her skills even more - she is prompt, efficient, full of enthusiasm, and an absolute delight to work with.
Massively professional, very talented, and brought exactly the right outfits for the very messy shoot we had planned. She developed a 'mood board' for us in advance, and the shoot was researched well in advance of the day.
What more can I say - other than I really can't wait to shoot with her again.
Thanks again for a great day !"
I can't thank everyone enough for such a wonderful (and productive) day! And I really can't recommend these two highly enough to other models. I hope we get the opportunity to shoot more crazy, weird and wonderful stuff later in the year and am so glad Diane thought of me for this project!!

P.s. I couldn't resist a good few "behind the scenes" action shots!
