During my Scottish tour I had an amazing day shooting with two absolute nutters :P Brian originally contacted me via Facebook and arranged a full day shoot with himself & another photographer (Derek Noble). Brian's initial ideas did slightly concern me if i'm honest, the idea of spending an entire day in a potentially freezing cold river/gorge was really quite daunting but both Brian & Derek turned out to be just so thoughtful and professional that what could have been a nightmare of a day turned into one of the best days I've had in front of a camera!
I don't think I've met many photographers quite as prepared as these two! They came fully equipped, not only with their own gear (including waders) but also plenty of necessities for me including towel, water proof trousers, blanket, flask of tea, flask for soup (and probably more I may have forgotten about). Both guys were very considerate throughout the shoot, it was a cold (and very wet) location but they made sure my safety was the number one priority throughout and it really helped the shoot progress in the most productive ways! We managed several locations during the day and there wasn't a single dull moment! Both Brian and Derek have a great sense of humour and we literally did spend the whole day laughing and bantering! Derek also made a brilliant taxi to ferry me from rock to rock through the gorge! I don't think I could have made it across the rivers without his added taxi service >_<

Both Brian & Derek were happy to show me the back of the camera and give direction where needed throughout the shoot, I think this really helped make sure we got the shots as it became very difficult to hear each other, especially when in/around the waterfall. Both guys were extremely considerate throughout and it was the perfect balance of silly banter and feeling safe and looked out for which really made for a brilliant day.

Just when the guys thought the shoot was over a little earlier than planned due to the second location being a bit more inaccessible than anticipated, I managed to bully them into shooting at a different location on the way home! They had mentioned the "pineapple house" and it sounded just too good to miss out on!! Once we got there I fell in love with the place and if I recall rightly the boys clearly got fed up of me and tried to take me home a few times but I bullied them into shooting more and more :P
I'm super glad I did (and that they even continued to shoot me whilst I was nice and dry in my little hallway and they were getting wet outside in the rain - payback for putting me in a river all day of course) :P because these jumpy, leapy, dancey shots are some of my favourites! :D :D

I finally gave them some peace and quiet and in return they sent me all these wonderful images! :D
I had such a great day and if I twist their arms just a little more they might tell you the same ;)
i fact, Brian was kind enough to leave me a reference from the shoot over on Purpleport:
"I shot a full day with Miss Rose on location as part of her Scotland tour, sharing the shoot with a colleague. Her pre-shoot communication was clear, concise and refreshing with all details and logistics handled well.
On the day she was well prepared for pick up with no delays, worked really hard throughout and posed beautifully in the river gorge locations we had chosen. She is creative, supportive of the photographers vision and a good collaborator. Nothing was too much trouble and her art background added to the creative juices flowing on the shoot.
Her figure is perfect for the dance, art nude and water nymph images we were creating with beautifully long limbs elegantly posed and an otherwise blank canvas. A definite recommend wholeheartedly and I look forward to her touring this way again as I don't think I scratched the potential of her creativity and versatility."
I can't wait to start organising my next tour and hopefully working with these two again (though maybe after this write up they'll remember just how hard I worked them and run away!) ;) - Thank you for such a memorable day! Really brilliant photography from you both, honestly can't thank you enough! :)
