My First Polaroids

Left = 1st attempt Right = 2nd attempt I really liked the composition of the first image but for some reason it was both out of focus and over exposed. The second image was re-taken in the same set up (no changes to the camera) so I can't understand the difference in the exposure. I also purposefully had no flash on so that I would see myself in the mirror but as it took the image the flash came on automatically which ruined it. The second image is also not in focus and I'm not sure what to do about this moving forward. Camera was set on 0.9-3m zoom with the lens attachment for portraits as suggested by Ricky. I'll take these in on Monday and ask for Ricky's advice.
